Institute Long Tao, Brazil

Institute Long Tao (Brazil) was founded on 18 February 2005. It currently has 150 members consisting of 5 Western medical doctors with acupuncture certificate, 10 acupuncturists, and 135 researchers and students related with acupuncture. The current director is Dr. Camine Elenne Egídio.

In 1999 the therapist Camine Elenne Egídio began at the activities of complementary therapies, and in 2005 she founded the Institute Long Tao, in what she until today acts as general director and also offers training courses, lectures and workshops at headquarters located in Santo André, Sao Paulo / Brazil. Today, after 10 years of operation, the institute has a team of highly qualified professionals providing many courses, all of which are supported by the Main Trade Unions and Associations of the prea, among them The Union of Acupuncturists and Oriental Therapists of San Paulo and the European Foundation of Traditional Chinese Medicine (FEMTC--Spain).

Currently, through a cooperation agreement with Einstein College, the Institute also offers postgraduation course of acupuncture and TCM for professionals with graduation in health care, such as physiotherapists, dentists, medicine doctors, nurses, occupational therapies, among others. Our main goal is to offer a new vision of qualify in health, including the humanization of care in the relation between the students / professionals and their patients, bearing in mind the evolution of knowledge and professional ethics.

 Graduated in Physiotherapy from the University Bandeirante of Brazil;
 Specialist in Acupuncture trained in Brazil and China by WFAS;
 Active in the area of Eastern and Integrative Therapies for over 15 years, working with Shiatsu therapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Korean Hand Acupuncture, Reiki, Tuina, among others.
 Director of the Union of Acupuncturists and Oriental Therapists od Sao Paulo;
 Director of Complementary Therapies of Panathlon International of Santo Andre;
 Executive President, Coordinator and Teacher of Institute Long Tao.
