The 62nd World Health Assembly Passes Resolution on Traditional Medicine was held from 18th to 22nd, May, 2009 in Geneva, Switzerland. A series of public health issues are discussed in the assembly. The issues include precaution to great epidemic flu; sharing information on flu virus, vaccine and other profiles; carry out International sanitary regulations (2005), junior hygiene involving health system; social decisive elements to health problem; monitoring realization of millenary development target on health. On total, 16 solutions and 1 decision were passed.
In item of technical and hygiene, a decision on traditional medicine was admitted by consensus. The issues on traditional medicine were also discussed at the event of public health, innovation and intellectual property.
